Since 2015, every year Qatar has come together in laughter, courtesy of The Doha Comedy Festival. We created the concept, partnering with Qatar Tourism to provide a platform for the nation to showcase local, regional and international comedians. The festival nurtures home-grown talent and introduces the world’s top talent to our stage.

Nine comedians launched the festival. In 2016, 18 Arab comedians graced the three-day event as part of Qatar Summer Festival. In 2017 the Festival got global, with fifteen performers from nine countries in the first-ever winter edition. 2018 grew the brand, and the 2019 festival featured world-famous crossover comedians performing in English but bringing their unique worldviews to the stage. With five festivals under our belt, we’ve only just begun.
